Well our Thursday league started last night at Houston Lanes in Fort Knox Ky. First thing we start on opening Day of the NFL, not good I would rather be home watching the Colts Saints game. Louisville is also playing and having trouble beating Middle Tennesse State.

Well the lanes are still the same as last season short oil major back end action. Game 1 225 I may have hit the pocket once the entire game, carried brooklyn shots all game. Made a ball change in game 2 started hiting the pocket and leaving 10 pin go figure... finished with a 168 two splits 1 in the tenth frame. Game 3 169 couldn't tell you what I did as I was more into the Colts Saints game then I was my bowling. This is the reason I stopped bowling on Sundays many years ago.

I'll be bowling 3 leagues this year and help coaching Sat morning kids league. Hope everyone has a great season.

Well black widow worked pretty well on the shark pattern. 183 (opened in the tenth) 246  181 didn't move until the 4th frame had 2 opens by then. learning to move sooner each week. Well I'm liking the Black Widow so far. Oil didn't faze it at all.

Well I finally did it. I bought my black widow hammer. Love the way it hit and feels so good coming off my hand. I'll be shooting on the PBA Exp tonight. Now I have a complete Hammer line up in my bag. Doom, Truck, 2001, Spike, and Black Widow. LOL

Well it's been 10 weeks and I seem to have one game were I have a few splits that just kill my series. Today it was game one started with 4 straight opens finished with 160  game 2 was only 2 opens 1 washout and 1 split 168. Last game I moved left and started to carry more 1 open 6-8-4-10 split in the middle of the game finished with a 193.  This week was the chameleon pattern. Thus far I have scored the best on the Shark. My biggest problem is me. I keep trying to over think what I'm doing.  Well we have 13 more weeks so I hope I can make it to the 190 AVG I was going for as my goal, currently at 177. Long way to go that's for sure. LOL
